HR221: Commending the Heroes & Protectors of O‘ahu's Drinking Water
The House of Representatives passed HR221, a resolution commending the following leaders for the vital work that they did before and after the Red Hill Fuel Leak:
•Ernie Lau
•Healani Sonora-Pale
•Wayne Tanaka
These three individuals will be remembered as heroes and protectors of O’ahu’s water. Mahalo 🌺❤️
Bill Signing Ceremony: SB1 SD2 was signed into law as Act 2
SB1 SD2 was signed into law as Act 2 yesterday by Governor Josh Green, M.D.
Act 2 expands access to reproductive health care in Hawai‘i by establishing that the state will not deny or interfere with a person’s right to an abortion.

Capital Improvement Project Funding Release: Princeville Public Library
Department of Health: Pilot Cesspool Grant Program
The applications for the state's Pilot Cesspool Grant Program with the Department of Health Wastewater will be available on their website starting March 15, 2023. The purpose of this grant program is to assist low‐ and moderate‐income property owners with converting, upgrading or connecting failing cesspools to a more environmentally appropriate method of managing and treating wastewater.
